I always knew I wanted to do something meaningful in my life. There were educators in my family. Knowing the importance of education, I was drawn to teaching. Since my retirement, something was missing. Serving as a board member can impact not only the students, but teachers and support staff as well. Our county's economic future depends on not only great schools, but on the work ready, college ready, trade skills ready students, we graduate. Nothing is as rewarding as making a difference in the lives of children and their future. I am humbled to serve Martin County Schools.
