Dear Students and Parents,
The faculty and staff join me in welcoming you to Martin County High School.
What an exciting time to be a GATOR! As we enter the 2024-2025 school year, we will continue to grow academically while raising our rigorous expectations to meet the needs of all our students. As we embed social and emotional learning in our daily routines, we will focus on the developmental needs of the whole child.
Martin County High School provides students with the foundation for their career pathway. Over the course of their four year journey, we ask all members of our Gator family to encourage students to seek out opportunities of interest in academics and extracurricular endeavors. MCHS offers a wide variety of course offerings from traditional core classes, early college classes, thriving arts programs, innovative CTE courses, as well as Martin Community College options. Our school counselors provide each student and family with the best avenue to meet the student’s individual needs. As the Gators staff provides a rich academic setting we ask that parents support their students in ensuring they meet the demands of these standards. This includes being on time and in attendance for all classes and activities to ensure they maximize their learning environment. We encourage students to take pride in themselves as well as their school by being involved in one of our many clubs, band, JROTC, and/or athletic teams. Studies show that students who are involved in extracurricular activities perform better in school.
As a Gator, students are expected to carry themselves in a respectful manner through words and actions. This holds true for students in the classroom as well as during extracurricular activities as we are paving the way to be productive citizens. We encourage and welcome open communication and invite all to be a part of the Gator family. Please do not hesitate to let us know how we may better serve you and your students' needs as we work together to provide an engaging educational journey.
GO GATORS, GO MARTIN!
