Martin County Schools host the Middle School Battle of the Books Wednesday, March 2 at the MCS Innovation Campus.

The Riverside Middle School team, coached by Shelia Robertson, took first place in the event. South Creek Middle School’s team, led by Olivia Mills and Billie Vanderford, took second place.

Officials for the event were MCS staff members Jason Wynne, moderator; Jan Wagner, Timekeeper with Lisa Adams, Pamela Cale and Abby Mizelle, judges.
