Mrs. Herring’s 5th graders are diving into the Industrial Era, using Benchmark Advance articles to strengthen their Reading for Information skills. They explored how technology shaped manufacturing, learned about Williamston’s previous industries, and discussed the impact of industrialism on the local economy. By connecting past and present, students gained a deeper understanding of what keeps their community thriving!
