E.J. Hayes Elementary

On Tuesday, as part of Read Across America Week, Mrs. Anthony visited E. J. Hayes Elementary to share her experiences as a former student. She also reminisced about field day, where students enjoyed outdoor activities and participated in the May Pole tradition, wrapping ribbons around each other. Her visit aligned with the theme of Schomburg: The Man Who Built a Library, emphasizing the importance of knowing our history and culture.
