Muller Joins Martin County Schools
Named New Principal for South Creek Elementary
Wayne Muller has been named the new principal of South Creek Elementary School. He will take over following the retirement of Nancy Greene, a longtime administrator in the district.
For the past five years, Muller has served Craven County Schools as an assistant principal at Ben D. Quinn Elementary School, Grover C. Fields Middle School, and most recently at Arthur W. Edwards Elementary School.
“Mr. Muller brings a wealth of experience in the elementary curriculum, instruction, and leadership that will be a vital asset to South Creek Elementary School and serve to propel the school forward,” said Dr. Michelle White, Superintendent of Martin County Schools. “We are excited to see the great things that will happen for South Creek Elementary School this year,” she added.
Muller has vast teaching experiences including third-grade at Grove Park Elementary School in Burlington as well as fifth-grade math and science at Havelock Elementary School. He has also served as a Teacher Ambassador, a Project Based Learning Professional Development Facilitator, and a Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Coach.
Muller completed his Master of School Administration degree from East Carolina University. He also holds a Master of Science in Teaching and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the State University of New York College at Potsdam in Potsdam, New York.
