Thanks to the parents that attended our first PTA meeting. We would also like to welcome this year’s new officers. President Hollie Styons; Vice President Amanda Spruill; Secretary Beth Winstead; and Treasurer Rachel Hardison.
PTA sponsored dance will be Friday, October 7th 7-9 pm. PTA is in need of individual snacks and drinks to sell at the dance. Items can be dropped off in the car line. Admission to the dance is only for JES students/$5.

SAVE THE DATE-Storybook Parade Monday, October 31st! Students dress up as their favorite storybook character and make sure you have your BOOK!
We are continuing beginning of the year assessments in reading and math. As students complete assessments teachers will share student results. There will be a limited number of assignments in some areas.
CandyMan sales are through Thursday, Sept 22nd. Please make sure all money is turned in at the beginning of the school day. Any questions please contact Vickie Leggett. Thanks for helping raise money for our school. Main event and gaming theater have been scheduled for Nov 1st and 2nd.
