Weekly Announcement 1/15/23
Monday, January 16th - No school for students and staff in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
Students are continuing to complete midyear assessments in reading and math. Please make sure students are present each day and are on time for school. Teachers will send home information with report cards on Jan 26th and schedule meetings with parents as needed.
Monday, January 23rd - No school for students/Mandatory Workday for teachers and staff.
MCS will now accept at-home COVID test results as proof of positive or negative test results. Parents are encouraged to share a screenshot of the results with the school nurse, Julie Thomas, jthomas@martin.k12.nc.us .
Please remember students with a temperature of 100.4 or higher, vomiting, or diarrhea (any of the three) must remain at home until they are symptom free for 24 hours and have tested negative for COVID or have a doctor note to return.
