These are the weekly announcements for February 27, 2023:
- Prom tickets are now on sale! There will be a Grand March this year for students who would like to participate. ALL students, singles with friends or couples, participating in the Grand March should purchase a Grand March ticket. Tickets can be purchased online through Ticket Spicket. Juniors and Seniors were provided with a direct link through email or Google Classroom. You can find our event by searching Riverside-Martin at Ticket Spicket. Prom will take place on April 28, 2023 at Yankee Hall in Greenville.
- Students who are NOT juniors or seniors of RHS will need a guest form completed. Guests NOT attending RHS will need a guest form completed and include a copy of their student ID or driver's license. GUEST FORMS ARE DUE TO MRS. BUTLER NO LATER THAN APRIL 6 , 2023! Forms can be obtained from the rack outside of the front office or in the media center.
- FCCLA & Food and Nutrition students are selling BOGO cards for Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Cards are $20 and payment must be received at the time of purchase. If you would like a card please see any FCCLA or Foods & Nutrition students. You may also contact Mrs. Hardison or Ms. Joyner if you would like to purchase a card. The Fundraiser runs through Mar 8, 2023
- Registration for the next driver education class beginning March 13th-24th from 3:30-6:30 at Riverside High School and South Creek High School will be after school on March 1st and March 2nd from 3:30-4:15. Registration at Riverside will take place in the auditorium lobby. Registration at South Creek will take place in the cafeteria. Students need to register at the school they plan to take the course at. Students must attend school in Martin County to register for this course. Homeschool students are eligible to register for the course as long as they reside in Martin County. Students must be born on or before September 2008 to register for this class. Contact amcgill@martin.k12.nc.us with any questions.
- Thursday, March 2 is the end of the T4 grading period.
- Friday, March 3 is a REMOTE DAY for students. Students do not report to campus on this day.
- Senior fees are now $90 & are payable to Mr. Delph each day by 1:30 pm. This fee covers the cost of your cap & gown unit, as well as other graduation expenses.
- If you were unable to pick up your cap & gown from Jostens on Tuesday, please see Mrs. Hoggard in room 183 during 1st period, all Knight Lunches, or after school to pick it up. Do not interrupt her classes to get your cap & gown.
- Yearbooks are NOW ON SALE and can be ordered from www.yearbookordercenter.com using the Riverside High School order number 15914. Yearbooks will be $40 or $45 with your name imprinted on the front. The deadline to purchase a yearbook will be April 1, 2023. All yearbook sales will be completed online. Please do not bring money to Mrs. Crosby.
