These are the weekly announcements for March 6, 2023:
- The T5 Grading Period begins on March 6, 2023.
- Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on March 9 from 4:00-7:00 pm and March 10 from 8:00 am-12:00 pm. Parents and guardians are invited to come out and meet with your student’s teachers and pick up report cards on these days.
- Registration for classes for the 2023-24 school year will begin Monday, March 6th. Counselors will meet with students to review the 23-24 High School Registration Guide, as well as discuss course selections. The Registration Guide can be found online on the MCS website under News. Please make sure students check their email on a daily basis for important upcoming registration information. If you have any questions, or would like to speak to your student’s counselor, please contact Mrs. Stanton or Mrs. Riddick.
- FCCLA & Food and Nutrition students are selling BOGO cards for Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Cards are $20 and payment must be received at the time of purchase. If you would like a card please see any FCCLA or Foods & Nutrition students. You may also contact Mrs. Hardison or Ms. Joyner if you would like to purchase a card. The Fundraiser runs through Mar 8, 2023
- The ACT will be given to Juniors on March 21. All Juniors need to report to campus on March 7 by 7:50 for testing even if they are usually off campus during first period. Juniors will need to remain in the cafeteria until they are called to their testing location.
- Yearbooks are now on sale and can be ordered from www.yearbookordercenter.com using the Riverside High School order number 15914. Yearbooks will be $40 or $45 with your name imprinted on the front. The deadline to purchase a yearbook will be April 1, 2023. All yearbook sales will be completed online.
- Interact Club members need to check their email for information about signing up to work at the Martin Community Players play concession stand.
- Prom Information: Prom tickets are now on sale! There will be a Grand March this year for students who would like to participate. ALL students, singles with friends or couples, participating in the Grand March should purchase a Grand March ticket. Tickets can be purchased online through Ticket Spicket. Juniors and Seniors were provided with a direct link through email or Google Classroom. You can find our event by searching Riverside-Martin at Ticket Spicket. Prom will take place on April 28, 2023 at Yankee Hall in Greenville. Students who are NOT juniors or seniors of RHS will need a guest form completed. Guests NOT attending RHS will need a guest form completed and include a copy of their student ID or driver's license. GUEST FORMS ARE DUE TO MRS. BUTLER NO LATER THAN APRIL 6 , 2023! Forms can be obtained from the rack outside of the front office or in the media center.
- Senior Information: Senior fees are now $90 & are payable to Mr. Delph each day by 1:30 pm. This fee covers the cost of your cap & gown unit, as well as other graduation expenses. If you were unable to pick up your cap & gown from Jostens please see Mrs. Hoggard in room 183 during 1st period, all Knight Lunches, or after school to pick it up. Do not interrupt her classes to get your cap & gown.
