Hi families! Here are just a few clarifications regarding the packets that were distributed last week and some additional information.
- Students were provided with work for 10 days. Since this week is Spring Break for our students, the work packets should have been started last week and should be completed by Friday, April 3rd.
- We are working on a date for the next packet pick-up and will send out that information as soon as we have a confirmed date.
- Your child's teacher will be in contact with you regarding whether or not your child has access to a computer and the internet. We will begin transitioning to online learning for those with internet access. We will continue to provide packets for families that do not have internet access.
- All of our teachers are in the process of creating a Google Classroom and adding your student into this virtual classroom. You will be receiving information from your child's teacher regarding how to access the virtual classroom.
- Per Governor Cooper's directive, we will remain closed until May 15th. We are hopeful that our students will be able to return to school on Monday, May 18th.
We know that this is a difficult time and there are still so many unanswered questions. We appreciate your patience as we navigate through this uncharted territory. We miss our students more than you can imagine and hope to see them again very soon!
