- Candy Man fundraisers may be picked up on Tuesday, April 28th from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. Please contact the school if you are unable to pick-up your child's Candy Man order during this time.
- A limited number of yearbooks are still available. All yearbooks must be ordered online this year. Ordering information is located on both our RES facebook page and our RES Website.
- Students in grades 3-5 need to check their email daily. Teachers are providing feedback on assignments and keeping in touch with students in this manner.- If you have a computer and internet access, it is very important that your child completes 45 minutes of iReady Reading and 45 minutes of iReady Math each week. Iready is based on your child's level and can be completed independently by your child.
- We are very excited to see so many of our students continuing to read and take AR tests weekly. Please continue to encourage your child to keep reading. As Dr. Seuss tells us, "The more that you read the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go!"
- Thank you to everyone that returned library books this week. As of Friday, we still have 69 students that have 102 books checked out in the amount of $1,196.75. If your child has a library book at home, please return it to school this week. Our office hours are from 8:30 to 2:30 daily.
- Lastly, as many of you already know, on Friday, April 24th. Governor Cooper announced that students would not return to school during the 2019-2020 school year, but will instead continue remote learning through the end of the school year. While we are very saddened by this decision and miss our students terribly, we do understand that we must put the safety of our students, staff, and families first.
