- We are excited that many of our students will be returning this week. Please remember that our Kindergarten students will either come on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday and all Kindergarten students will come on Thursday and Friday.
- Our 1st - 5th graders will either come on Monday or Tuesday and all 1st - 5th graders will come to school Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
- If your child is riding the bus to school, we are asking that parents please wait at the bus stop with their child the first day they come to school to answer the health screening questions. After the first day, you will receive attestation forms that you can sign and your child can bring to the bus. Please be sure your child is at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the scheduled arrival time in the event the bus is ahead of schedule. They will need a mask to enter the bus.
- Morning drop-off for car riders will begin at 7:30 am. This year, we are unable to offer early drop-off.
- Car riders need to remain in your vehicle and roll down your window. A staff member will come to your car to ask you the health screening questions and take your child's temperature. If your child's temperature is less than 100.4 and they pass the screening questions they will be allowed to exit the car and come into school. If they have a temperature of 100.4 or higher you will be asked to pull forward to Gate #3 for a re-screening. If during re-screening, your child's temperature is less than 100.4 they will be allowed to come into school, if not, they will be sent home and our school nurse will provide you with further instructions. Students will need to have a mask on to enter the school. We ask that you please be patient with us as this process may take longer than usual the first few days of school.
- Our tardy bell rings at 7:50 and our instructional day begins at 7:55.
- If you need to pick-up your child early, please be sure you arrive prior to 2:30 pm. We will not allow any early sign-outs after 2:30 pm.
- At this time we are limiting access to our building to essential personnel only. Unfortunately, parents are not allowed to walk their students into the building or to class. Also, at this time, parents are not able to join us for lunch and classroom parties are prohibited.
- In the afternoon we will dismiss our bus students first and then our car riders. We will stagger dismissal to ensure that we are able to maintain social distancing. If you are picking up your child, please do not plan to arrive prior to 2:45 pm. Parents may begin entering our campus at 2:45 for afternoon pick-up. Please note that due to limited staff, we will only be able to load cars at gates 6-10. Dismissal will be similar to last year; however, we cannot have all students to meet in the multipurpose room therefore dismissal may take a little longer. We do ask for your patience during the first few days.
- All students will be provided no cost breakfast and lunch each day in their classroom. Your child may choose to bring their own lunch if you wish. They may also bring a water bottle with water and a snack if they would like. Due to COVID-19, all of our water fountains have been turned off.
- Students will be bringing home lots of information on their first day. Please take time to read through this information and return all paperwork the next day your child returns to school.
- Beginning Monday, teachers will not be as readily available for phone calls. Please note that we will not put phone calls through to classrooms when teachers are providing instruction. Please allow up to 24 hours for teachers and administration to return your calls.
- Please know that we are following all guidance provided to us by the CDC and local health officials. Your child's safety is of the utmost importance to us and we are working hard to ensure everyone stays safe and healthy.
