This week South Creek Elementary School will be performing a lock down drill on campus. This drill will be conducted by the administration of South Creek Elementary School, Martin County Schools, and the Martin County Sheriff’s Department. A letter was sent home Thursday with information about the lockdown drill.

Thurs, October 10th is an Early Release Day for students. Parent-teacher conferences will be held from 4 to 7 pm. No school on Friday, October 11, 2019.

Friday, October 4th is an Early Release Day. Students will be dismissed at 1 pm.

*As a reminder, parents are not allowed to walk students to their classrooms after the 7:50 tardy bell. Please make you arrive before this time if you want to walk your child to class.
*Students will continue to taking the ELA and Math iReady Diagnosis Tests this week.
*On Friday, September 13th students and staff are asked to wear orange in honor of Leukemia Awareness Month and in remembrance of our fellow cougar and our former student Miss Aaniyyah Little.

Martin County Schools is monitoring the storm track of Hurricane Dorian and staying in contact with Martin County EMS. School will operate on regular schedule for Wednesday, September 4, 2019. We will keep you informed if anything changes.

I just want to say THANKS to all participants of yesterday's district-wide safety exercises! You conducted yourselves with great professionalism the entire day. I also want to thank all the law enforcement, EMS, and fire officials on hand to support our schools. You all rock!!

All Martin County Schools staff will be involved in a system-wide safety drill tomorrow, August 15, 2019. School staff along with law enforcement, fire, and EMS agencies will be reviewing and practicing safety procedures and protocols. This is only a drill and neither personnel nor school property is under any actual threat. Thank you for your understanding.

Diaper Drive - SCES Is supporting Moms and babies in Martin County. We have a collection box for diapers in our main office and will continue to collect until May 31st. New and opened boxes of diapers are accepted. Please help out if you can.

Report Cards will be coming home in Friday, May 3rd. Please sign and return the envelope on Monday, May 6. Thank you.

Science Night - Tuesday, April 16th @ 6:30pm at the SCES Gym. Fun science activities for the whole family with take homes for kids. Refreshments will be served. Hope to see you there.

All students need headphones or ear buds for iReady math and reading lessons and testing. Please make sure that your child is prepared with headphones or ear buds on Monday, April 8.
