Students were provided an informative presentation by Chief Larry Johnson of the MCC Fire Academy. MCS currently has students enrolled in the Jr. Firefighter and Exploration programs through Williamston Fire/Rescue. Firefighters and Rescue personnel are in need nationally.





Brendan Mobley, a 2020 MCS graduate employed by Oak Ridge Industries, Inc. (Washington, NC), demonstrates the art of TIG welding to students in Ag Mechanics I & II.




5th grade Career Awareness students received an update on the new Martin Innovative Middle School, the opportunities in our CTE program, new middle school CTE course offerings, and the Feb. 6th Better Together event showcasing the new Martin County Schools! No one else around offers what we do. #CTEmonth

MCS School Nutrition Team has a part-time opening for a Superhero at Riverside High School!


5th-grade students at SCES discussed their favorite future jobs and the marketplace in Martin and surrounding counties. Through understanding Career & Technical Education (CTE) and the opportunities within MCS, students are on an early pathway to success!

MCS Career & Technical Education; Identifying student skills for success!

"Fall into CTE" Program hosted at the Innovation Campus, home of the Martin Innovative Early College and Career and Technical Education programs, Thursday Oct. 26th from 5:30-7:30. Come see all the course offerings for students in CTE! 5th Grade -11th grade MCS students welcome!


MCS H.O.S.A. (Health Occupations Students of America) visited East Carolina University's School of Nursing & School of Dentistry recently. Students were able to obtain specific information about each program, academic requirements, and career opportunities!



MCS Sr. Da'Niyah Pettaway leads and advises students in her Culinary Internship at SCHS. She serves in Foods II class with Mrs. Hale (CTE Foods & Nutrition) as they prepare pizza and shepherd's pie in the culinary kitchen.
