The Varsity Baseball Team will be participating in the 3rd round of the state 1A baseball playoffs. They will be hosting Granville Central High School at 6:00 pm on Tuesday - May 14th - Go Knights!
The Varsity Softball Team will be traveling to Princeton High School on Tuesday is the 3rd Round of the state 1A playoffs. Time is currently TBA - Go Knights!
The Senior Honor Academic Luncheon is Monday May 20, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Moratoc Park. Honors seniors need to check with your counselor to pick up your invitation. See your counselor if you have any questions.

Monday, May 20th is the last day that students can check out books from the media center.
Friday, May 24th - All books are due to the media center.
Monday, June 3rd - Summer Reading check out begins.
Seniors, if you wish to attend Decision Day on May 15th, you must turn your lime green admission ticket in to Ms. Highsmith by Tuesday May 7th. If you have any questions, see her in Student Services.

The varsity softball team will travel to Rocky Mount on Friday to play Rocky Mount Prep School in the 2nd Round of the state 1A softball playoffs. The game will begin at 6:00 pm. The game will be played at the Rocky Mount Athletic Park - Go Knights!

The RHS Jazz Band is participating in a "Knight of Jazz with the RHS Band." The event is May 9th at the Flat Iron Building. It begins at 6:30 pm. Come out and support the Knights!
The Varsity Baseball Team will be hosting Manteo High School in the 2nd round of the state 1A NCHSAA Playoffs. The game will be Friday Night at 7:00 pm. No passes except for the NCHSAA passes. The cost is 7.00 per person. Go Knights!

There will be JROTC Physical Training on Wednesday only this week. Start time is 3:25 pm.
Students are reminded to be to school and class on time. Students that have missed over 8 days may be in danger of failing their courses due to attendance, even if you are passing the course academically. Makeup time is minute for minute. If you have any questions, please contact administration.
Knight Lunch Schedule this week-Sign up for your 3 after 9pm-Each Night This Week
The Riverside High School Horticulture Department is having their annual "Spring Plant Sale". Please see the flyer attached for dates, times and prices. Our plants are not commercially grown but each plant has been planted by and taken care of by a student in Horticulture class. The students are learning production techniques of the plants, facility use and maintenance, and basic business sales principles. So come on out and get your vegetables or flowers for your garden and house plants. Mother's Day is coming up and we have hanging baskets.
Senior fees are 45.00 and can be paid to Mrs. Alvarez each day before 1:00 pm. Seniors must pay the fee to participate in graduation.
